Driving Inclusion at Education Symposium 2025

Mr. Zahid Ali Abbasi, Secretary School Education & Literacy Department, Government of Sindh, attended the Education Symposium 2025 organised by the British Council Pakistan at the Marriott Hotel in Islamabad on 3 November 2025. His presence underlined Sindh’s engagement with national and international partners to address educational challenges.

The symposium, themed Beyond Barriers: Creativity, Inclusion & Empowerment in Education, gathered educators, policymakers and development partners to discuss innovative approaches for inclusive learning. Sessions at the event focused on practical pathways to expand access and strengthen the quality of education, with the Education Symposium serving as a platform for shared strategies.

The School Education & Literacy Department reaffirmed its commitment to promoting quality, inclusive and empowering education for all learners across Sindh. Participation at the Education Symposium highlights the department’s priority to collaborate on policies and programmes that support equitable learning opportunities.

Engagement at the Education Symposium aims to translate dialogue into action by fostering partnerships that support creativity and inclusion in classrooms across the province. Sindh’s delegation emphasised sustained cooperation with development partners to advance empowerment through education for every child.
