Remove American Bases from Muslim Countries: Jamaat-e-Islami Leader Urges Arab States

Bannu: Ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami South Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Professor Muhammad Ibrahim Khan, said that negotiations between Iran and the United States should continue, as halting the dialogue would push the region further toward destruction. If the United States has no issue with Israel’s nuclear weapons, it should not object to the nuclear capabilities of Iran and Pakistan either.
He stated that the biggest enemies of world peace are the United States and Israel themselves, while the United Nations is merely a silent spectator. Muslim rulers, he said, have become subservient to the United States. The true strength of Muslims lies in Islam, but the rulers are unaware of it and are the biggest obstacle in its path. He added that youth are not raw material but the real asset of an Islamic revolution.
He expressed these views while addressing a gathering of friends and workers of Islami Jamiat-e-Talaba Bannu at Darul Uloom Islamia Bannu. Others who addressed the gathering included Secretary General of Jamaat-e-Islami South KP Muhammad Zahoor Khattak, local Nazim of Islami Jamiat-e-Talaba Bannu Mudassar Hussain, Secretary General Muhammad Sohail, District Nazim Aqib Hussain, Secretary General Muhammad Saad, and others.
Professor Ibrahim Khan further said that Israel has been embedded like a dagger in the back of the Muslim Ummah, and the United States is fully backing it. American military bases in Muslim countries are meant to protect Israel, not those countries. He said Iran’s attacks on Saudi Arabia and other countries are not justified, but similarly, there is no justification for American bases in Arab countries, as these bases are being used to bomb Iran. He called on Arab countries to eliminate American military bases.
He added that Islami Jamiat-e-Talaba has made sacrifices for the Islamic revolution and has rendered lives in the form of Al-Badr and Al-Shams to safeguard the ideology of Pakistan. The organization exposed the intentions of the Qadianis at Rabwah Railway Station, which eventually led to the National Assembly declaring them non-Muslims. The sacrifices of Islami Jamiat-e-Talaba for the country are well known.
He urged the youth to join Islami Jamiat-e-Talaba to defend Islam and the ideology of Pakistan.
Addressing the gathering, Secretary General Muhammad Zahoor Khattak and local Nazim Mudassar Hussain said that Islami Jamiat-e-Talaba Pakistan has always guided students on ideological and moral grounds and played a vital role in shaping them into responsible citizens. The organization not only encourages students in academics but also instills social awareness, responsibility, and a spirit of public service.
They added that through the platform of Islami Jamiat-e-Talaba, many young individuals have emerged as leaders and are now serving the nation in various fields. The organization has promoted a balanced and purposeful student culture through positive activities, debates, and training programs in educational institutions. It has always played its role in promoting moderation, tolerance, and positive thinking in contrast to extremism and negative trends.
