RWU Marks Independence Day With Patriotic Spirit

Rawalpindi Women University marked Pakistan’s 78th Independence Day with a vibrant ceremony celebrating national pride and unity. The event featured the recitation of the Holy Quran, the hoisting of the national flag accompanied by the anthem and a guard of honour, and passionate slogans of “Pakistan Hamesha Zindabad” echoing across the campus.
This year’s festivities carried special meaning, highlighting the nation’s recent victory in Marka-e-Haq, also known as the “Battle of Truth,” which stands as a symbol of resilience, justice, and unity. Students added to the celebrations by performing national songs, while participants joined in a special prayer for the country’s ongoing progress.
The university campus was decorated with green and white lights, creating a festive and patriotic atmosphere. The ceremony concluded with a cake-cutting, as faculty, staff, and students came together to celebrate the spirit of independence and national pride.
