Digital Forensics Training Empowers Sindh Judiciary

The United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) in Pakistan, with support from the European Union, organized a specialized workshop for the Sindh judiciary focused on digital forensics, electronic evidence, and witness protection. The initiative aimed to enhance the capacity of judicial professionals in handling modern forms of evidence and ensuring the safety of witnesses.
Participants received hands-on training to collect, preserve, and present digital evidence in accordance with legal standards. The workshop covered essential topics such as the proper documentation and safeguarding of electronic evidence to ensure its admissibility in courts.
In addition to technical skills, the session emphasized international best practices for witness protection, highlighting strategies to secure the integrity of legal proceedings while respecting human rights. The effort is part of a broader commitment to strengthening the justice system and adapting to emerging challenges in the digital era.
