PMYP and PAGE Foundation Empower 10000 Women Leaders

The Prime Minister’s Youth Programme (PMYP) has joined forces with the PAGE Foundation and other key partners to launch “Take the Lead,” an initiative designed to empower 10,000 women across Pakistan. The program, formally launched at PARCO Gunvor Limited (PGL), aims to provide women with leadership training, digital marketing skills, opportunities in entrepreneurship, and support for career development.

The launch event brought together senior representatives from all collaborating organizations. Rizwan Anwar Virk, Special Representative for the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme, was joined by Nausheen Adnan, Parliamentary Secretary for Education Punjab, Asif Iqbal, CEO of PARCO Gunvor Limited, and Fajer Rabia Pasha, Executive Director of the PAGE Foundation, to celebrate the partnership and its objectives.

Supported by PMYP, Mexoxo, PARCO Gunvor Ltd, and eCornell University, “Take the Lead” is structured to enhance women’s professional and personal growth. Participants will benefit from a range of training modules to develop essential skills for leadership roles and entrepreneurship, as well as access to resources that support their entry and advancement in digital marketing and other emerging fields.

Rizwan Anwar emphasized that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is strongly committed to the development of youth and women in Pakistan. He noted that under the leadership of Rana Mashhood Ahmed Khan, the PMYP is making significant progress by partnering with prominent organizations to achieve its mission.

PMYP reaffirmed its dedication to fostering inclusive opportunities for young women, enabling them to unlock their potential and play active roles in shaping Pakistan’s future. Through “Take the Lead,” the programme aims to inspire a new generation of women leaders throughout the country.
