Strengthening Islamabad Health Services

District Health Officer Dr Syeda Rashida Batool convened an internal coordination meeting with representatives from all sections of the office to reinforce teamwork and streamline service delivery across the capital. The session focused on aligning daily operations to deliver timely public health interventions for residents of Islamabad.

The DHO stressed that every effort must be directed toward strengthening Islamabad health services, with particular attention to accessible, quality public health services for citizens of Islamabad. She underlined the importance of clear responsibilities, improved communication between units and consistent follow-up to reduce gaps in service delivery.

Office officials discussed practical steps to enhance responsiveness, patient access and monitoring of initiatives, and committed to regular internal reviews to measure progress. Staff were urged to prioritise community needs and maintain high standards so that Islamabad health services remain reliable and citizen-centred.
