CTO Rawalpindi Acts on Citizens Traffic Concerns
On 13 October 2025 respected citizens met with CTO Rawalpindi to discuss persistent traffic problems across the city and to present practical suggestions. Attendees highlighted congestion points and offered proposals aimed at improving flow and safety during peak hours.
The CTO Rawalpindi responded by instructing the DSP Headquarters and the officer in charge of the complaint cell to take immediate steps to address the reported issues. Officials were ordered to coordinate on-site assessments and prioritize quick-response measures where congestion or safety risks were identified.
Civic engagement will continue as the CTO Rawalpindi announced that citizens may meet with the office daily between 11:00 and 12:00 to register complaints and follow up on progress. The directive aims to ensure complaints are tracked through the complaint cell and coordinated with DSP Headquarters for timely resolution.
