National Rahmatul-lil-Alameen Conference in Peshawar

A national conference on the life and teachings of the Prophet Muhammad, held in Peshawar as part of the ten-day Rahmatul-lil-Alameen observances, was organized by the Department of Auqaf and Religious Affairs of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and drew a large, diverse audience. The event celebrated the Seerat-un-Nabi and concluded with awards for top performers in provincial Naat and Qirat competitions.
The conference, centered on the Seerat-un-Nabi, took place in a local hall in Peshawar under the auspices of the provincial department responsible for religious affairs. It formed part of the province’s program of activities for the Ashra Rahmatul-lil-Alameen.
Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Sardar Ali Amin Gandapur attended as the chief guest. Provincial Minister for Auqaf and Religious Affairs Muhammad Adnan Qadri, members of the cabinet, and scholars representing various schools of thought were also present.
The gathering included students, teachers, and representatives of civil society, reflecting broad community participation. The programme provided a platform for religious scholars and community leaders to engage on themes related to the Prophet’s life and its contemporary relevance.
At the close of the conference, awards were distributed to outstanding participants in the provincial Naat and Qirat competitions, recognizing excellence in devotional recitation and Quranic reading.
