Syedal Khan inaugurated the 16th Safe Secure Pakistan and the 19th POGEE Pakistan exhibitions at the Pak-China Friendship Centre in Islamabad on 10 February 2026, with the events running through 12 February. He stressed that security is now a national necessity rather than the remit of a single institution, making modern, technology-driven security and firefighting solutions indispensable for Pakistan.
Addressing attendees, the Acting Chairman noted that criminal elements continually adapt their tactics and that the introduction of advanced systems is proving effective in crime prevention and in protecting citizens’ lives and property. The exhibitions put a spotlight on the latest surveillance equipment, firefighting apparatus, bulletproof solutions and enhanced security cameras, underscoring how security technology is evolving beyond basic recording to become a proactive tool for deterrence.
He warned that neglecting robust firefighting systems can lead to severe human and financial losses and highlighted the increasing necessity of bulletproof vehicles in the current environment. Syedal Khan said industry collaboration at events like Safe Secure Pakistan and POGEE can bolster economic and industrial stability by bringing modern, sustainable solutions to firefighting, workplace safety, emergency response, surveillance systems and the energy sector.
During his visit to various stalls the Acting Chairman received detailed briefings on the latest offerings and assured organizers and participants of his full cooperation. He appreciated the efforts of exhibitors and hosts, reiterated support for innovation in the security and energy fields, and conveyed his best wishes for Pakistan’s safety, development and prosperity.
