Fruit Tree Distribution by Forest Department in Tirah Valley

The Khyber Forest Department has distributed 400 fruit tree saplings in the Tirah Valley as part of an effort to promote environmental sustainability and support local communities. Special events were held in Sindana and Tirah Maidan to mark the occasion.
A key distribution event took place in Upper Bara, Sindana, attended by Qazi Farman, the coordinator of Khidmat-e-Khalq Welfare Society, along with Haji Ashiq, community leaders Wak Khan, Asil Khan, and others. Representatives from the Forest Department, including Wahid Khan and Gul Khan, were also present.
In total, 200 saplings of apple, pomegranate, and fig trees were distributed to various areas of the Sipah tribe. Community members and leaders expressed their gratitude to the Forest Department for providing fruit-bearing plants, noting that such initiatives could have a lasting positive impact on the local environment and enhance livelihoods.
