Showcasing Gandhara Heritage in Islamabad

On 13 December 2025 Islamabad will host a unique cultural event that highlights Pakistan’s Gandhara Heritage through fashion, performance and historical storytelling. The Gandhara theme show aims to educate younger generations about the region’s Buddhist artifacts and ancient sites in Taxila, Mardan, Swat and Hazara by presenting living habitats, traditional culture and period-inspired fashion on one stage.

The event at IFQ Hotel & Resort Islamabad brings together designers Mani Collection and Noor Posh Collection alongside creative assistant Harry Awan to produce visually rich segments that blend style with history. Sponsors including Gandhara Properties, HiFi Holiday Club, Diplomatic Insight Group and Global Business Alliance support the message of religious harmony by connecting history to contemporary culture.

Audiences from the corporate sector, business community, showbiz and diplomatic circles are expected to attend as models present an evocative Buddha theme walk and a sequence titled

ilization history revealed. Other segments will interpret historic and regional narratives such as Cleopatra History Beauty, the folk tragedy Sohni Mahiwal, a feature on Razia Sultana and live folk song performances to underline cultural continuity.

Back Stage Production organizes the programme with photography by Hilook and Asif Excellence and videography by Babar Choudhry and Bilal.
