Alkhidmat Foundation North Punjab to Host “Shaheen Sports League 4.0” — A Grand Sports Festival for Orphan Children in Rawalpindi
Rawalpindi: Alkhidmat Foundation North Punjab is set to organize “Shaheen Sports League 4.0” on November 9, 2025, at the Ayub Park Sports Complex, Rawalpindi. The unique sports gala is dedicated to orphan children under Alkhidmat’s care, bringing together 231 children from 12 districts who will participate in seven different sports categories.
President of Alkhidmat Foundation North Punjab, Rizwan Ahmad, while briefing the media, said:
“Shaheen Sports League is a practical reflection of Allama Iqbal’s philosophy of selfhood and the spirit of the Shaheen. The aim of this initiative is to nurture courage, confidence, leadership, and teamwork among orphan children. We want these children to overcome any sense of deprivation and instead play a positive role in building a brighter and more compassionate Pakistan through service and constructive activities.”
He further stated that Alkhidmat Foundation continues its mission of supporting thousands of orphan children across Pakistan, ensuring their education, character-building, and holistic development. The Shaheen Sports League is a continuation of these long-term initiatives aimed at empowering the next generation.
The media briefing was also attended by Amjad Hussain Shah (General Secretary, Alkhidmat Foundation North Punjab), Haroon Rashid (District President, Alkhidmat Rawalpindi), and Bilal Azfar Abbasi (Deputy Director).
Among the distinguished guests expected at the event are Dr. Hafeez ur Rehman (President, Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan), Air Vice Marshal (R) Farooq Habib (Vice President, Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan), and Brigadier Abdul Jabbar Butt (National Director, Orphan Care Program).
At the conclusion of the event, awards and certificates will be distributed among outstanding participants, while national songs, motivational performances, and special Iqbal Day celebrations will also be held to promote patriotism, confidence, and inspiration among the children.
In his closing remarks, Rizwan Ahmad, President of Alkhidmat Foundation North Punjab, said:
“These children are our pride. If we instill in them confidence and a sense of purpose, they will become tomorrow’s leaders, scientists, and ambassadors of humanity.”
