Advancing Exam Technology at FBISE Workshop
A five-day national workshop on digitalization and technology integration in examinations concluded at the Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education in Islamabad on 21 November. The event focused on practical steps to modernize examination systems and advance exam technology across Pakistan.
The closing ceremony was chaired by Chairman Board of Intermediate Education Faqeer Muhammad Lakho and was attended by Dr. Ghulam Ali Mallah, Executive Director IBCC. Participants presented their learning and provided feedback during an interactive question and answer session that highlighted practical IT solutions for exam management.
Dr. Mallah said the training aims to strengthen the capacity of IT professionals and promote the effective use of technology in examination processes. His remarks emphasized hands-on skills and systemic improvements needed to deploy digital exams securely and reliably.
Dr. Ikram Ali Malik, Chairman FBISE, reaffirmed the Federal Board’s commitment to supporting all examination boards in Pakistan with IT and software matters. Chief guest Faqeer Muhammad Lakho expressed satisfaction with the workshop’s outcomes and stressed ongoing capacity building to meet evolving technological demands.
A souvenir was presented to the chief guest and certificates were distributed among all participants as the workshop concluded. Organizers said the event will inform further collaborations to embed exam technology across provincial and federal examination systems.
