Strengthening Pak Canada Business Links

Overseas Pakistani businessman Mohammad Ali, a Canadian-based entrepreneur, visited Islamabad and held talks with Federal Minister for Poverty Alleviation and Social Protection Pir Imran Ahmad Shah to discuss ways to expand Pak Canada business and strengthen bilateral trade ties.

The meeting, attended by prominent political and social figure Sardar Hamza, examined opportunities for enhanced private sector collaboration between Pakistan and Canada. Mohammad Ali expressed his readiness to work alongside the government to promote trade links, investment channels, and practical measures to widen commercial relations.

Minister Pir Imran Ahmad Shah welcomed the proposals and emphasized the vital role overseas Pakistanis play in supporting the national economy. He affirmed that the government would consider Mohammad Ali’s suggestions to create new avenues for Pak Canada business and to develop broader international partnerships.

Sardar Hamza highlighted that the business community is indispensable to economic recovery and urged the government to further improve facilities for entrepreneurs. Attendees agreed on follow-up steps to translate proposals into concrete initiatives that support Pak Canada business, boost exports, and attract investment.
