Najeebullah Khattak was honoured with the Pride of Performance Award when Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi presented the accolade on Wednesday in recognition of his national and international achievements in sports.
Najeebullah Khattak serves in the CDA Sports and Culture Directorate and combines academic pursuit with practical expertise as a PhD scholar, High-Performance Physical Fitness Coach, trainer and nutritionist. His multifaceted role has been central to athlete preparation and conditioning within civic sports programs.
Khattak has worked with both national and international teams at major events including the World Cup, Asia Cup and Asian Games, and holds the distinction of winning a silver medal at the World Cup. His track record reflects sustained contribution to elite sport and athlete performance.
The governor’s recognition highlights how Najeebullah Khattak’s coaching and scientific approach to fitness have raised the profile of performance sports within the CDA and across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, offering a model for aspiring coaches and sport professionals.
