RPO Rawalpindi Baber Sarfraz Alpa conducted on-site inspections at Saddar Wah and Taxila police stations accompanied by the SDPO Taxila, the relevant SHOs and other senior officers. During the visits he thoroughly reviewed station premises, including the buildings, lockups, front desks and other operational areas to assess readiness and service delivery.

The RPO visited the martyr memorial at Saddar Wah and offered prayers for the late Constable Sajjad Hussain Shah, honoring his sacrifice and underscoring the department’s commitment to the families of fallen personnel.

Records of registered cases, ongoing investigations and the progress of serious matters were examined in detail. The RPO directed that all suspects named in FIRs be arrested without delay and that every investigation be pursued on merit with full transparency. He ordered that challans be submitted to the competent courts within prescribed timeframes and stressed that no individual be held in illegal custody under any circumstance.

Emphasizing that a police station is primarily a service center for citizens, the RPO called for courteous and respectful treatment of every visitor and a professional service culture at front desks. Officers and personnel were instructed to rebuild public confidence through improved conduct, performance and technical competence.

The RPO also reiterated the need to make rule of law, citizen respect and timely access to justice departmental priorities. He asked station teams to maintain continuous and effective action against criminal elements while ensuring stations remain responsive hubs for maintaining local law and order.
