Securing Aviation Fuel for Flight Inspection
The Flight Inspection Unit of the Pakistan Airports Authority has reached a key operational milestone after signing a contract with Pakistan State Oil for the supply of aviation-grade fuel to two Flight Inspection Aircraft. This agreement directly addresses the need for reliable aviation fuel to support calibration and inspection missions across the country.
Under the arrangement, fuel will be made available at airports nationwide, enabling the unit to perform flight calibration and inspection tasks on schedule. The timely availability of aviation fuel is expected to improve the unit’s ability to verify navigation aids and flight procedures, contributing to safer and more reliable air navigation services for Pakistan.
Pakistan Airports Authority and Pakistan State Oil will coordinate logistics to ensure refuelling support at key airports, helping the Flight Inspection Unit maintain consistent operations. The contract for the two Flight Inspection Aircraft underlines a commitment to operational readiness and aviation safety across Pakistan’s airspace.
With secure access to aviation fuel, the Flight Inspection Unit can carry out essential inspections and calibrations more efficiently, reinforcing national efforts to sustain high standards of air navigation and passenger safety.
