Telemedicine Karachi Expands Care Across the City

Federal Health Minister Mustafa Kamal inaugurated the sixth telemedicine centre in Karachi, calling the move a practical step toward fulfilling commitments to public welfare.

Speaking at the opening, Mustafa Kamal said the Health Ministry is pursuing effective and modern measures to strengthen the primary healthcare system. He emphasised that telemedicine has become indispensable as a tool to reduce pressure on hospitals amid a growing population.

The new telemedicine Karachi facility aims to deliver uniform and quality medical services to people in different parts of the city, helping to standardise access to care and bring specialist consultations closer to underserved communities.

The inauguration is being seen as another concrete advance in providing accessible healthcare and implementing the government’s pledges on public welfare through practical, technology-driven solutions.
