Strengthening Pakistan Serbia Trade Links
Ambassador Faraz Zaidi met Mr. Aleksandar Milićević, Director of the Niš Chamber of Commerce and Industry, during his recent visit to the city of Niš to explore ways of deepening Pakistan Serbia trade and economic engagement.
The conversation focused on strengthening institutional links between chambers and business organisations, and on identifying opportunities for greater trade and investment cooperation between Pakistani and Serbian business communities. Both sides discussed practical steps to improve market access, information sharing and connectivity that can support exporters and investors on either side.
For Pakistan’s business community, enhanced Pakistan Serbia trade relations offer potential new avenues into the Balkan market and a platform for closer commercial ties with Serbian industry. Strengthening institutional collaboration was highlighted as a key enabler to convert dialogue into tangible business opportunities.
Both officials emphasised the importance of sustained follow-up and closer coordination between institutions to translate discussions into concrete initiatives that benefit businesses and investors from Pakistan and Serbia. The meeting underlined a mutual interest in building a more active economic partnership grounded in stronger institutional links and targeted investment cooperation.
