NAVTTC Initiatives Boost Overseas Employment for Skilled Youth

Mr. Aftab Rashid, Senior Joint Secretary at the Ministry of Federal Education & Professional Training, was given a comprehensive briefing on the latest initiatives of the National Vocational and Technical Training Commission (NAVTTC), with a particular focus on expanding overseas employment opportunities for skilled youth in accordance with directives from the Prime Minister.

During the session, officials outlined NAVTTC’s ongoing projects aimed at enhancing skill development and vocational training across the country. Special emphasis was placed on aligning training programs with international labor market requirements to better position Pakistani youth for employment abroad.

The briefing also covered recent advancements in curriculum development, partnerships with international organizations, and efforts to improve certification standards. These measures are part of a broader government strategy to address unemployment and harness the potential of Pakistan’s young workforce by equipping them with skills in demand worldwide.

Mr. Rashid expressed appreciation for the progress made, acknowledging the importance of NAVTTC’s role in transforming Pakistan’s technical education landscape and supporting the Prime Minister’s vision of creating more avenues for overseas employment for the nation’s skilled individuals.
