Pakistan Kyokushinkan Shines at Nations Cup

Ambassador Faisal Niaz Tirmizi received the Pakistan Kyokushinkan team comprising athletes Irfan Khan, Raza Abid and Ali Rehman, led by coach Aslam Noor, following their success at the NATIONS CUP 2026. The delegation secured second and third place prizes, marking a proud moment for Pakistan Kyokushinkan on the international stage.

The NATIONS CUP 2026 International Kyokushinkan Competitions were held in Moscow from February 28 to March 1 and were organized with the support of the Ministry of Sports of the Russian Federation. The results reflect the growing competitiveness of Pakistan Kyokushinkan athletes who are gaining valuable experience against international opponents.

At the embassy reception the ambassador commended the athletes and coach for their discipline and commitment, highlighting the importance of sports engagement abroad and the role of diplomatic support in promoting Pakistani talent. The warm welcome underscored how sporting success contributes to positive bilateral ties and national pride.
