IG Leads Motorway Inspection on M1 M2 and M14
On 9 April 2026 in Islamabad, Inspector General of National Highways and Motorway Police Sultan Ahmed Chaudhry conducted a Motorway Inspection across M-1, M-2 and M-14 to assess field operations and deployment.
The IG was accompanied by the DIG Headquarters and the DIG Motorway North as the delegation visited multiple duty points along the corridors. During the visits, the team reviewed ongoing duties, operational arrangements and the readiness of patrol units.
During the Motorway Inspection the inspector general carried out detailed checks at various duty locations and issued important instructions aimed at strengthening enforcement, coordination and timely response on the motorways. Officials emphasized sustained oversight of field teams to ensure effective service delivery for road users.
Public relations officer Saqib Waheed confirmed the itinerary and noted that the inspection was part of continuing efforts to monitor performance and operational standards across the motorway network.
