Khudam-ul-Hujjaj Advance Team Begins Madinah Operation
A high-level coordination meeting at the Directorate of Madinah reviewed arrangements ahead of the arrival of the Khudam-ul-Hujjaj advance team and the first group of Pakistani pilgrims on April 18. The session focused on accommodation, food, transport and arrival procedures to ensure a smooth start to the Hajj operation.
Attending the meeting were Director Madinah Zahid Sohail, Coordinator Makkah Zulfiqar Khan, Head of the Medical Mission Colonel Muhammad Tauqir Malik, Coordinator Madinah Kashif Hussain, Deputy Coordinator Misbah ur Rehman and other senior officers. Officials reviewed each operational area in detail and assigned clear responsibilities to teams deployed across food services, residential buildings, airport reception and transport.
According to the briefing, a total of 660 Pakistani pilgrims will arrive in Madinah on April 18 via three flights, with more groups to follow. The Khudam-ul-Hujjaj advance team has completed room allocation for the first group and will closely monitor food, transport and residential services to maintain quality and prompt settlement.
Director Madinah Zahid Sohail said all arrangements are fully computerized and properly planned to enable quick check-in and efficient management. He emphasized close oversight of food supply chains, transport schedules and residential standards to provide comfort to pilgrims from arrival.
Coordinator Makkah Zulfiqar Khan praised the Madinah directorate for its preparations and expressed confidence that the organized approach will ease pilgrims’ stay. Kashif Hussain stressed that effective implementation depends on close coordination between operational teams and local authorities at every level.
Staff will remain in continuous contact with Nusuk authorities and the SIM card provider to ensure smooth distribution of Nusuk cards and SIMs, and teams have been instructed to exercise utmost vigilance during card issuance to avoid confusion. With final preparations in place, the Khudam-ul-Hujjaj operation aims to welcome Pakistani pilgrims to Madinah with dignity, comfort and efficient service.
