Sweden Pakistan Business Visit in Lahore Highlights

Swedish Ambassador Alex visited Lahore to meet with three Swedish companies operating in Pakistan—Qmatic, Oriflame Pakistan and Tetra Pak Pakistan—highlighting technology-driven customer solutions, women’s economic empowerment and sustainable manufacturing as pillars of Sweden‑Pakistan commercial cooperation.
At Qmatic, the delegation observed the company’s customer flow and queuing management solutions, which aim to make waiting more efficient and user-friendly. The visit showcased how digital appointment and queue systems can improve service delivery in retail and public-facing environments.
The stop at Oriflame Pakistan emphasized the company’s role in promoting women’s economic participation. With nearly 90 percent of its brand partners being women, Oriflame was presented as a model of inclusive employment and grassroots entrepreneurship that strengthens local livelihoods while deepening bilateral commercial ties.
At Tetra Pak Pakistan, the ambassador received a guided tour of the end-to-end production process, with briefings on the company’s sustainability initiatives and technological innovations. The visit underlined Tetra Pak’s efforts to combine efficient manufacturing with environmental responsibility in the Pakistani market.
Ambassador Alex thanked the host companies for their hospitality and for demonstrating the positive impact Swedish firms are having in Pakistan. The visits reinforce shared interests in innovation, sustainability and inclusive economic growth as foundations for stronger Sweden‑Pakistan partnerships.
