Returning to Keble College After 33 Years

Ahsan Iqbal described returning to Keble College at the University of Oxford after 33 years as an especially pleasant experience. He recalled attending the Duke of Edinburgh’s CSC leadership programme in 1992 and said the familiar surroundings revived vivid memories of that formative training.

This visit was connected to the URAAN Pakistan conference, and coming back to Keble College for the event proved a memorable and joyful moment. Iqbal reflected on how past leadership experiences inform current engagements and on the continuity of relationships nurtured over decades.

For audiences in Pakistan, his return underscores the importance of international leadership exchanges and the role institutions like Keble College play in shaping dialogue. The Oxford setting provided a fitting backdrop for conversations about leadership and collaboration that remain relevant to Pakistan’s future.
