Strengthening Pakistan US Tech Partnerships
Ambassador Rizwan Saeed Sheikh today met a cohort of emerging Pakistani entrepreneurs who are visiting the United States on the Professional Fellows Program on Economic Empowerment 2025, underscoring efforts to deepen Pakistan US Tech collaboration.
The participants, representing IT, artificial intelligence and modern business management sectors, briefed the Ambassador on their areas of expertise and shared observations from their stay in Oklahoma, including productive exchanges with American counterparts in their respective fields.
The Ambassador congratulated the group for joining this prestigious program and highlighted a renewed upswing in Pakistan‑US relations, stressing complementarities and concrete prospects for cooperation in the new economy and IT sectors. He noted that Pakistan US Tech ties can deliver tangible benefits when built on shared priorities.
Pointing to growing demand in the United States, Pakistan’s tech‑savvy youth and the country’s competitive advantages in cost and quality, the Ambassador described these elements as foundations for a win‑win collaboration. He advised participants to leverage their US exposure by maintaining and expanding professional networks, increasing awareness of local capabilities back home and converting contacts into joint opportunities.
Such exchanges, the Ambassador added, can strengthen Pakistan’s entrepreneurship ecosystem and create practical channels for bilateral cooperation that support economic empowerment and technology partnerships between Pakistan and the United States.
