Celebrating Unity at Maroof Hospital This Christmas
On December 19, 2025, Maroof International Hospital in Islamabad marked Christmas with a warm cake cutting ceremony that highlighted unity, compassion and interfaith harmony across the workplace. The gathering underscored the hospital’s ongoing commitment to inclusivity and mutual respect among staff from diverse backgrounds.
As Chief Guest, Mr. Mohd Syafiq Firdous, Deputy Head of Mission at the Malaysian High Commission, praised the hospital for creating an environment where diversity is valued and cultural understanding is actively promoted. He noted that such events extend beyond tradition and serve as reminders that harmony is essential to a progressive society, while offering warm Christmas greetings to the MIH community.
Mr. Haroon Naseer, Chief Executive Officer of the hospital, conveyed his Christmas wishes and paid tribute to the steadfast dedication and teamwork of medical and support staff. He reaffirmed that respect for diversity, compassion and interfaith harmony are central to Maroof International Hospital’s mission and workplace culture, and that those values guide daily patient care and staff interaction.
The occasion was further honoured by the presence of the Chairman and Mrs. Chairman, whose participation reflected leadership support for unity and inclusivity. As a gesture of appreciation, management presented cash souvenirs to colleagues celebrating Christmas, acknowledging their valuable contributions to the organisation and the wider community.
The celebration concluded with Christmas carols performed by MIH’s Christian team, filling the hospital with messages of peace and togetherness.
