Students Join Parliament House Visit in Islamabad
On December 24, 2025 a delegation of students undertook a Parliament House visit in Islamabad at the invitation of Senator Gurdip Singh. The group was received on arrival by officials from the Senate Secretariat and escorted through the parliamentary complex.
The students toured the Senate Museum where they received detailed briefings on the history of Pakistan’s parliament, the stages of lawmaking, and the Senate’s constitutional role and responsibilities. The museum presentation was tailored to give young visitors a clear understanding of legislative processes and the evolution of parliamentary institutions.
During a guided walk along Galli-e-Dastoor the delegation was briefed on Pakistan’s constitutional development and landmark laws that have shaped the country’s governance. The walk formed an integral part of the Parliament House visit, connecting historical milestones to the everyday workings of the legislature.
The visit concluded with an orientation in the Senate Hall where students learned about procedural practices and parliamentary traditions of the upper house. The delegation described the experience as highly informative and expressed gratitude to the Senate Secretariat and Senator Gurdip Singh for the guidance and educational support provided during the Parliament House visit.
