Pakistan Logistics Strengthened Through Global Partnership
TCS Group has formalized a strategic partnership with Nippon Express (South Asia & Oceania) Pte. Ltd., under which Nippon Express Group has taken a minority stake in TCS Logistics. The alliance is set to improve international connectivity for Pakistani businesses and consumers while strengthening domestic logistics capacity through combined expertise.
TCS Logistics brings over four decades of nationwide operations in land transportation, warehousing, distribution and cross-border connectivity. Saira Awan, President of TCS Group, said the partnership is a landmark moment for TCS and Pakistan’s logistics sector and reflects international confidence in the country’s market fundamentals. She highlighted that the collaboration will enhance the company’s ability to deliver world-class, technology-enabled supply chain solutions that connect Pakistani businesses to global markets.
Nippon Express will leverage TCS Logistics’ domestic network and customer base to expand logistics operations in Pakistan and to develop trade lanes from Pakistan to Central Asia. With operations across more than 50 countries, Nippon Express aims to identify emerging needs, introduce new logistics services and strengthen key trade corridors originating from Pakistan.
The transaction is expected to accelerate modernization of Pakistan logistics through investments in technology and value-added services, making imports and exports more efficient and supporting exporters, manufacturers and SMEs. The partnership also represents a meaningful foreign direct investment into the local logistics sector, combining local operational scale and customer trust with global best practices and end-to-end supply chain capabilities.
