Prof. Dr. Iqrar Ahmad Khan (HI, SI), Chairperson of the Punjab Higher Education Commission (PHEC), congratulated Prof. Dr. Muhammad Zia ul Haq on assuming his responsibilities as Vice Chancellor of the University of Narowal and welcomed his leadership as an opportunity for institutional renewal.
The Chairperson underlined PHEC’s readiness to extend full institutional cooperation and guidance to help realise the university’s vision. He commended the comprehensive strategic transformation plan presented by the Vice Chancellor, noting its clarity, foresight and strong emphasis on academic excellence, research advancement and sustainable institutional growth.
PHEC reiterated its commitment to support initiatives that strengthen higher education across Punjab and to promote a culture of quality education and impactful research. The commission said it will work with the University of Narowal to implement the proposed measures and ensure the strategic plan translates into tangible improvements for students, faculty and the wider academic community.
