Renewing Commitment on Pakistan Day

Islamabad, 23 March 2026 — Federal Minister for Education and Vocational Training Dr Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui delivered a Pakistan Day message recalling the Lahore Resolution of 1940 as the foundational moment that set the course for Pakistan. He urged citizens to honour the founders’ vision by renewing the country’s commitment to justice, equality and opportunity.

Dr Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui described Pakistan Day as a time to remember the resolve and sacrifices of the country’s founders and to recommit to a state built on fairness and equal access. He emphasized that the ideals of the Lahore Resolution continue to guide national efforts toward inclusive development.

Highlighting the central role of education, the minister said that education is the primary pillar for national progress and a brighter future. He stated that providing quality education to every child remains the government’s top priority and underscored the urgent need to equip the youth with both knowledge and practical skills to meet contemporary challenges.

The minister noted ongoing measures across the country to expand equitable and quality education, and called for collective action to build a strong and prosperous Pakistan.
