Officials Unveiled For Bangladesh Test Series

A veteran ICC Elite Panel Match Referee, Ranjan Madugalle, will oversee the upcoming ICC World Test Championship 2023-25 matches between Pakistan and Bangladesh.

The highly anticipated series will see both teams battle it out in two Test matches.

The first Test is set to take place at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium from August 21 to 25, with the second match scheduled at the National Bank Stadium in Karachi from August 30 to September 3.

These fixtures are crucial in the World Test Championship as both teams aim to solidify their positions on the points table.

For the series, the officiating panel will comprise experienced officials from the ICC Elite Panel of Umpires and the ICC International Panel of Umpires.

In the Rawalpindi Test, England’s Richard Kettleborough and South Africa’s Adrian Holdstock will serve as the on-field umpires.

Michael Gough from England has been appointed as the third umpire, with Rashid Riaz of Pakistan taking on the role of the fourth umpire.

The Karachi Test will see a slight reshuffle, with Michael Gough and Adrian Holdstock assuming the on-field duties, while Richard Kettleborough will switch to the role of the third umpire. Asif Yaqoob, hailing from Pakistan, will be the fourth umpire for this match.

The series promises intense competition, with both teams eager to showcase their skills under the watchful eyes of an experienced officiating team.

The presence Madugalle adds further prestige to the matches, ensuring adherence to the highest standards of the game.
