Strengthening Aid with French NGOs in Pakistan
The French ambassador met with representatives of eight French NGOs active in Pakistan — Acted, Action contre la Faim, Handicap International, Médecins du Monde, Médecins Sans Frontières, Secours Islamique France, Solidarités International and Triangle Génération Humanitaire — to review their ongoing work and coordination on the ground.
Participants engaged in rich and informative exchanges about project delivery, operational challenges and the evolving needs of vulnerable populations in different regions of Pakistan. The discussions reflected a shared commitment to improving impact through closer collaboration and information sharing among humanitarian actors.
France’s support for the NGOs’ projects was reaffirmed during the meeting, highlighting the importance of sustained backing for programmes that assist displaced families, communities facing food insecurity and those in need of medical and social services. The ambassador used the opportunity to commend their efforts and to signal continued diplomatic and practical support.
The gathering underscores the role of coordinated international assistance in Pakistan and the ongoing partnership between French humanitarian organisations and local stakeholders to reach vulnerable groups effectively.
