RAWALPINDI: City Police Officer (CPO) Hassan Mushtaq Sakhira visited the Regional Office of the Crime Control Department (CCD) Rawalpindi, where he was briefed on the department’s working and performance.
RO CCD Hassan Jahangir Wattoo gave the briefing to the CPO and apprised him of the performance of the department. During the visit, CPO Sakhira awarded certificates to officers showing excellent performance and appreciated their services.
Speaking on the occasion, CPO Hassan Mushtaq Sakhira said that better coordination between the Crime Control Department and Rawalpindi Police would help in the prevention of crime. He said Rawalpindi Police and CCD would work jointly against criminal elements.
The CPO said the performance of the CCD had contributed to a decrease in the crime rate across Punjab. He added that joint efforts were required to ensure crime prevention and the elimination of criminal elements.
On the occasion, the CCD presented an honorary shield to CPO Hassan Mushtaq Sakhira.
