Lahore (Cultural Reporter) — Karachi is set to host a major music and entertainment show on September 19, with OP Productions bringing internationally acclaimed European DJ Axwell to Pakistan for a live performance.
The event will be staged at Moin Khan Academy, Karachi, and will be presented under the creative direction of OP Productions CEO Omer H Paracha. According to the organisers, the show has been planned in a modern and distinctive style, combining a cinematic theme with the concept of sunrise, advanced lighting and music to create a memorable setting for the audience.
OP Productions said the music and lighting-based event is being designed in line with international standards. The purpose of the show, the organisers added, is to highlight Pakistan’s positive and beautiful image globally through quality entertainment.
The programme will open with performances by local artists Bilal Brohi, Hazey and ShotBox, after which DJ Axwell will take over the stage for the main performance.
Omer H Paracha said the musical show would provide Pakistani audiences with a unique experience of contemporary music, lighting and entertainment. He said the event would also serve as an example of safe, world-class entertainment in Pakistan and could help create more regular opportunities for international artists and singers to perform in the country.
