A student delegation currently enrolled in the Senate internship program visited Parliament House in Islamabad, receiving a comprehensive orientation regarding Senate history, parliamentary functions, and legislative procedures.
Upon their arrival, senior Senate officials warmly welcomed the student delegation and guided them on an informative visit to the Senate Museum. At the museum, the delegation viewed a detailed documentary illustrating the historical growth, working methods, and parliamentary evolution of the Senate. Through this presentation, the interns learned extensively about parliamentary traditions, the Senate’s responsibilities, and its constitutional significance.

Following this, the students were led to the Senate hall, where they received a detailed briefing regarding the chamber’s procedures, legislative process, parliamentary protocols, and ongoing operational activities of the upper house. Senate officials provided valuable insights into various stages of lawmaking, helping to deepen the interns’ understanding of legislative proceedings.
Participants of the delegation expressed their gratitude, describing the visit as exceptionally beneficial and informative.
