CPDI Team Engages Prosecutor General Sindh on Training Support

A delegation from the Centre for Peace and Development Initiatives (CPDI) recently met with Mr. Muntazir Mehdi, Prosecutor General of Sindh, to discuss departmental nominations for specialized training sessions organized for prosecutors and extended support within the framework of the Justice Sector Support Program.
During the meeting, participants emphasized the importance of enhancing the competencies and knowledge of prosecutors through targeted training sessions. Both sides agreed that capacity-building initiatives would significantly contribute to the strengthening of Sindh’s judicial system and improve overall efficiency in prosecution processes.
Mr. Mehdi affirmed his commitment to full coordination with CPDI, acknowledging the necessity of continual professional growth among prosecutors to enhance the justice delivery framework. He assured departmental support in selecting qualified prosecutors to attend specialized training workshops.
The Justice Sector Support Program, backed by CPDI, aims at advancing transparency, competence, and effectiveness within the judicial sector, ensuring that justice delivery mechanisms function efficiently and in line with international best practices. The collaboration between CPDI and the Prosecutor General’s Office highlights their joint commitment towards these shared goals.
