Punjab Taekwondo Academy Hosts Black Belt Award Ceremony

A special ceremony was organized to award black belts to talented Taekwondo martial artists by Punjab’s Sports and Youth Affairs Department in collaboration with Punjab Taekwondo Academy, on the instructions of Director General Sports Punjab, Khizra Fazal Chaudhary. The event was held at the Elite Training Centre, Nishtar Park Sports Complex.
During the ceremony, belts were distributed to a total of 156 athletes, recognizing their success and advanced proficiency in the discipline. Among them, 19 skilled individuals were honored specifically with black belts, signifying the highest standard of excellence and dedication within the sport.
The initiative, directed by Khizra Fazal Chaudhary, Director General Sports Punjab, aimed at promoting martial arts among young athletes and providing recognition for their hard work and discipline. The move underscores the department’s continued commitment to nurturing sports talent across the province and encouraging youth towards constructive physical activities.
Athletes expressed gratitude to Punjab Sports authorities for the development opportunities provided, noting that such events further motivate sportspersons to excel. The award ceremony attracted considerable attention from the athletic community, highlighting the growing popularity of Taekwondo in the province and showcasing Punjab’s potential in martial arts at the national level.
