The meeting, chaired by China and held at the WHO Secretariat, brought together senior representatives from the foreign policy agencies’ press services to discuss improving information outreach and countering misinformation.

Delegation heads engaged in in-depth discussions on strengthening the SCO’s information work, focusing on increasing the visibility and influence of the Organization’s initiatives worldwide. She also outlined comprehensive plans for media coverage of the forthcoming SCO Council of Heads of States meeting, scheduled to take place in Tianjing.

A key feature of the event was the Secretariat’s report, which assessed the information support for SCO activities over the past year. This review facilitated further dialogue on best practices and areas requiring improvement.

The participating states reaffirmed their commitment to fostering practical collaboration and strengthening coordination among the Foreign Ministries’ press services.
