One Health Workforce Development Meeting in Pakistan

Federal Health Minister Mustafa Kamal chaired a high-level meeting focused on the development and coordination of the One Health Workforce initiative. The session brought together key health officials to discuss integrated strategies for building a robust and preventative healthcare system in Pakistan.
During the meeting, Minister Mustafa Kamal praised the direction of the One Health Workforce Development and Coordination project, stating that it aligns with his vision for a cohesive national health framework. He emphasized that such initiatives are crucial for ensuring an integrated and prevention-oriented healthcare system in the country.
The meeting was attended by the Secretary of Health, Additional Secretary, Director General to the Minister, and Professor Dr. Shehzad Ali Khan, Vice Chancellor of the Health Services Academy. Participants reviewed progress and next steps for the project, underscoring the importance of coordinated efforts among various health institutions. The discussions reflected the government’s commitment to advancing public health infrastructure and enhancing preventive measures across Pakistan.
