Lahore took home the men’s title while Karachi claimed the women’s crown as the second edition of the Pakistan Padel Ranking Cup concluded in Karachi. The national tournament, organized by the Pakistan Padel Federation in collaboration with Padel Asia, the International Padel Federation, Play Pro Maidan, and the Sindh Padel Federation, saw strong competition across three categories.
In the men’s final, it was an all-Lahore affair as Team SK narrowly edged out rivals Padel Square in a closely contested match, securing the championship in a dramatic finish. The women’s final saw Team MUV from Karachi dominate the Padel Team with a straightforward 2-0 victory, cementing their status as champions in the women’s category.
The mixed category title was clinched by Team Yum Prem, rounding off an eventful tournament.
At the closing ceremony, President of the Pakistan Padel Federation, Mr. Mateen, awarded cash prizes and trophies to the winners and officials. A total of 600,000 rupees in prize money was distributed during the event. Mudassir Arain, CEO of the Pakistan Padel Federation, expressed confidence in the nation’s padel players, stating they are ready to compete internationally and are poised to bring further recognition and success to Pakistan on the world stage.
