At the Home of FIFA in Zurich on Monday, FIFA Secretary General Mattias Grafstorm met with Pakistan Football Federation President Syed Mohsen Gilani to review recent progress and forward-looking plans for Pakistan football.
The FIFA Secretary General congratulated the PFF president on the national women’s team’s victory in the FIFA Series and recognised the momentum the federation has built in recent months. Gilani thanked both the FIFA President and the Secretary General for their continued support and encouragement for the federation’s work.
Discussions focused on football governance and prioritised infrastructure projects as key areas for immediate attention. During the meeting Gilani presented a detailed report on PFF activities and initiatives from the last few months, outlining steps already taken and projects under consideration to strengthen operations at national and grassroots levels.
Expressing full confidence in the PFF leadership, Mattias Grafstorm reaffirmed FIFA’s support and said he was looking forward to a brighter future for Pakistan football as governance improvements and upgraded facilities move ahead.
