Binance Pakistan Leadership Advances Crypto Talks
Senior Binance executives, led by Global CEO Richard Teng, visited Islamabad to engage with Pakistan’s top leadership on the roadmap for digital assets regulation and industry collaboration. The delegation’s meetings focused on aligning industry goals with the country’s regulatory priorities as Pakistan builds its oversight framework.
Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif attended the session alongside the Chief of Defence Forces and Chief of Army Staff, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, underlining the high-level attention being given to the subject. The presence of senior civilian and military leaders signalled a unified government interest in shaping a secure and transparent environment for virtual assets.
Chairman of the Pakistan Virtual Asset Regulatory Authority, Bilal bin Saqib, briefed attendees on his authority’s recent performance and regulatory work. The government reiterated a strong commitment to clear, enforceable rules for digital assets and expressed willingness to cooperate with market participants, including Binance Pakistan, to ensure investor protection and market integrity while supporting responsible innovation.
