Parliamentary Secretary Visits Islamabad Airport Operations

The Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of Defense, Ms. Zeb Jaffar, conducted an official visit to Islamabad International Airport, where she reviewed the airport’s operations and inspected its latest facilities. Ms. Jaffar was welcomed by the Chief Operating Officer and other senior officials upon her arrival.
During the visit, airport authorities briefed her on key aspects of airport management, including operational procedures, security arrangements, and efforts to facilitate passengers. The delegation highlighted the implementation of joint search mechanisms aimed at enhancing security, as well as various measures adopted to streamline the passenger experience.
Ms. Jaffar also toured the newly established Chinese Executive Lounge, where she received updates about the enhanced comfort and services offered to travelers. Additionally, she was informed about improvements in health, immigration procedures, and queue management to ensure efficiency and safety for all passengers.
At the conclusion of her visit, Ms. Jaffar expressed satisfaction with the airport’s facilities and commended the overall performance and management of Islamabad International Airport.
