Russian Federation Council deputy speaker Konstantin Kosachev arrived in Islamabad on 11 November 2025 to take part in the inter-parliamentary speakers conference scheduled for 11 and 12 November. The two-day event brings together parliamentary leaders in the capital to discuss matters of legislative cooperation and dialogue.
Senate officials extended a warm reception to the visiting delegation on arrival, noting Mr. Kosachev’s position as deputy chair of the Federation Council. The Kosachev visit was greeted with official hospitality from Pakistani parliamentary representatives.
Mr. Kosachev’s participation at the conference provides a platform for direct parliamentary engagement between the Russian Federation Council and Pakistan’s legislature during the sessions in Islamabad over the coming two days.
