NAHE Leads STEM Teaching Enhancement in the UK

A capacity building program for academic staff from Pakistan successfully wrapped up in the United Kingdom, aiming to strengthen higher education standards through international collaboration. Organized by the National Academy of Higher Education (NAHE) of HEC Pakistan, the week-long initiative was held in partnership with the British Council Pakistan, King’s College London, and the STEM Learning Centre York under the Pakistan-UK Education Gateway.

Lecturers and Assistant Professors from 62 universities across Pakistan participated in the training, which was delivered in three cohorts. The program focused on improving STEM teaching methods, fostering institutional partnerships, and encouraging the adoption of international best practices within Pakistan’s higher education sector.

In addition to rigorous training sessions, participants had the opportunity to visit leading universities and notable cultural sites in the UK. They are now expected to share their new knowledge and insights with colleagues, helping to raise educational standards and promote innovation within their home institutions.
