RDA Appointments Strengthen Rawalpindi Development
Syed Masood Ahmad (PMS) has assumed charge as Additional Director General at the Rawalpindi Development Authority while Maleeha Iesar (PAS) has taken over responsibilities as Director Finance at RDA. Both officers arrived with mandates to reinforce leadership and oversight across the authority’s technical and financial functions.
Both officers bring extensive administrative experience and solid backgrounds in public sector governance. The RDA appointments are expected to enhance institutional performance, strengthen financial discipline and accelerate the pace of development projects across Rawalpindi by improving project monitoring and fiscal controls.
An RDA spokesperson said that under the guidance of the new leadership the authority will continue to implement government policies effectively, ensure transparency in operations and promote planned urban development tailored to the city’s needs. Emphasis will be placed on timely execution of schemes and clear accountability for results.
The appointed officers pledged to work with dedication to uphold merit, accountability and high standards of service delivery. They reaffirmed RDA’s commitment to facilitate citizens and streamline regulatory processes in line with the vision of good governance, a move RDA staff welcomed as a step toward stronger governance and faster project delivery.
