Punjab Strengthens Exam Monitoring in Rawalpindi

Acting on directives from Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, provincial authorities have stepped up exam monitoring under a strict zero tolerance policy. Chief Secretary Zahid Zaman and Provincial Education Minister Rana Sikandar Hayat have directed intensified supervision to ensure compliance with rules and preserve transparency and fairness at examination centres.

Commissioner and Chairman of the Rawalpindi Board, Engineer Aamir Khattak, has formed special monitoring teams and reinforced surveillance through CCTV and other modern technology to make exam monitoring more effective across the district.

The Controller of Examinations inspected several examination centres in Hasan Abdal and Kahuta, including Government Associate College for Women Hasan Abdal, Government Girls Higher Secondary School Hasan Abdal, Government Girls High School Hazara Road Hasan Abdal, Government Associate College for Boys Hasan Abdal, Government Higher Secondary School for Boys Hasan Abdal and Government High School Kahuta, Rawalpindi. During these visits two female candidates were caught cheating at the women’s college in Hasan Abdal and one candidate was detected at Kahuta; cases were promptly registered and forwarded to the discipline branch for further action.

Following the inspections the Controller emphasized that coordinated action between the district administration and the education board will continue so that exam monitoring and disciplinary measures maintain an orderly and transparent examination system across the province.
