Driving Pakistan Business Forum Growth in Europe

A major ceremony in Paris marked the fifth anniversary of Pakistan Business Forum France and the first anniversary of Pakistan Business Forum Europe, bringing together hundreds of Pakistani businesspeople, community representatives and investors from across Europe. Delegations from twelve European countries joined business leaders to discuss trade and investment opportunities that can benefit Pakistan.

Pakistan’s Ambassador to France, Mumtaz Zahra Baloch, served as chief guest and praised the role of the overseas Pakistani business community in strengthening Pakistan’s economy. She highlighted how the Pakistan Business Forum has become an effective platform for promoting exports and enhancing trade relations between Pakistan and European markets.

Sardar Zahoor Iqbal, chairman of Pakistan Business Forum Europe, reiterated the forum’s commitment to expanding bilateral trade and creating new avenues for investment. President Mazhar Iqbal Deewana stressed that organised collective efforts are essential for Pakistani entrepreneurs to fully capitalise on European market potential.

Founder president Haji Muhammad Aslam Chaudhry recounted the forum’s journey from inception to its present growth, acknowledging the challenges and hard work that built the organisation. General Secretary Yasar Khan updated attendees on preparations for the Pakistan European Expo, a key initiative to showcase Pakistani products and services in Europe.

Senior Vice President Dr. Hamza Taj outlined concrete investment and business opportunities available to Pakistani entrepreneurs and urged young businesspeople to align with modern market requirements. Prominent analyst Raheeq Abbasi called for unity, sincerity and mutual cooperation within the community to ensure organisational success.

Former NADRA chairman Malik Tariq encouraged overseas Pakistanis to invest back home to help stabilise and grow the national economy. Salman Aslam, event organiser and legal secretary of the forum, presented a detailed review of five years of Pakistan Business Forum activities, its projects, achievements and future objectives.

The event proceedings were conducted by Sahibzada Atiq-ur-Rehman and included formal welcomes by Sardar Zahoor Iqbal and Haji Muhammad Aslam Chaudhry. Patron-in-Chief Muhammad Ibrahim Dar thanked guests and delegates for their support, and the celebration concluded with a ceremonial cake cutting to mark the forum’s milestone in Paris.
