WHO Sends Urgent Medical Aid to Flood Hit Khyber Pakhtunkhwa

The World Health Organization (WHO) has sent an emergency shipment of medical supplies and medicines to the government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to support flood-affected communities and displaced people in Bajaur. The supplies are expected to assist up to 15,000 individuals in priority areas hit hardest by recent flooding.
This emergency response aims to address urgent healthcare needs in the region, where heavy floods have disrupted essential services and displaced residents. The WHO’s assistance includes a range of essential medicines and medical equipment, intended to strengthen local health facilities and provide immediate relief to those impacted.
By coordinating closely with local authorities, the WHO seeks to ensure that the most vulnerable populations receive timely healthcare support. The shipment underscores the organization’s ongoing commitment to supporting health emergencies and disaster-affected communities in Pakistan.
